Welcome to Kindermusik with Musikbugs!
Have you ever wondered what we do in music classes? Do we sit around and shake some rattles and sing? Well, yes, we do! But there’s more! The Kindermusik program is a research based program that has been around for about 46 years. Every activity, musical play, dance, movement, prop and story time is especially designed to suit the growth and development of your child’s heart, mind and body.
We work on:
- Fine motor and whole Body Movement
- Cognitive development
- Speech and Language
- Auditory development
- Musicianship to prepare for playing an instrument later
- Social and Emotional Skills
For every stage of your child’s early years, we engage in music making that is intentional in bringing out the best in your child. This is not to say that our classes are going to be all roses and butterflies! Babies cry, toddlers have tantrums and preschoolers have meltdowns. Self- regulation is a huge part of early childhood, and working it out through music is rewarding.
Our regular Musikbugs thrive on the routines and rituals through our classes, and look forward to music class every single week.
